DE JONG Hoists Australia is a wholly owned West Australian business conducted by Rimwest Pty Ltd, incorporated in 1995 it offers specialised temporary materials and personal hoist services to the resources, constructions, civil engineering and commercial building sectors, and also provides permanent hoists to warehousing, crane and ship loader facilities. Through an exclusive Australia wide Agency agreement, we proudly represent the products of DE JONG’s Liften BV Holland.
The company was established in early 2000 and based in Malaga, Western Australia and has grown to become one of the leading hoist supply companies in Western Australia. It currently carries a large hire fleet consisting of all types ranging from the smaller capacity single phase 300kg materials hoists to the larger 3 phase 2000kg capacity personal hoists, but our major objective has been to promote the sales of DE JONG Hoists, accompanied with the back-up of our mobile site service units, our huge range of electrical and mechanical spare part inventory and our purpose built maintenance and testing facility.
Over the years we have worked closely with our manufacturers and their engineers in Holland to modify and upgrade the machines to suit Australia’s robust climate and construction conditions and also adapt the hoists to suit specific client needs.
Accordingly the DE JONG Hoists have evolved into state of the art machines, fully hot dip galvanized, rack and pinion electrically driven and are now market leaders in their field. There is no other hoist on the Australian market that can match DE JONG’s superior quality, safety features, strength and reliability.
In 2011, at our existing premises in 11 Harris Road Malaga, we designed and built new facilities to house our new head office, sales warehouse, maintenance and assembly workshop complete with gantry cranage, a testing and wash down facility and purpose built heavy duty racking storage.
We moved into our new home in January 2012, and from here distribute our products Australia wide and provide our customers with the very best technical advice and design engineering solutions to suit their project hoist requirements.
In June 2016 DE JONG HOISTS (AUS) formed an alliance with OY Scanclimber Ltd (Finland), one of the largest manufacturers of mastclimbers in the world, and by July of the same year we secured an exclusive distribution agreement for the regions of Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Scanclimber are the world technology leaders of mast climbing platforms, their versatility, speed and safety makes them the ideal product to execute very demanding façade projects.
Over the last few years our partnership with Scanclimber has enabled us to grow our product range both in our hire fleet, and sales. And has provided us with the specialist expertise and design execution to complete any of the most challenging facade applications, weather cladding of new buildings, re-cladding of old buildings, or for the purpose of brickwork, render, tiling, or structural work we can offer the best solution to overcome any technical difficulties you may have on your project.
